Award for Business Innovation

The Alicante Chamber of Commerce awards annual awards to seven companies in the province for their innovative work and trajectory.

Last Thursday, June 11, in the new Auditorium of the European Office for Harmonization of the Internal Market (OAMI), the forty-first edition of the Night of the Economy of Alicante was held where ENAIR ENERGY SL received the prize for Business Innovation.

This unique prize aims to distinguish the work in the field of Design, Creativity, Research, Technological Development and Innovation (R + D + I), as well as to the contribution in Conservation of the Environment. It also evaluates the projected image of the product or service in question, the research carried out to improve it and its greater competitiveness and development in the sector and market in which it is developed.

Its two partners, David Bornay and Juan Antonio Vila, collected the prize from the President of the OHIM Antonio Campinos, in an aura of satisfaction for the recognition that brings to his last years of investment in the development of one of the technology used in Its wind machines that exist today in the world and its application in the most innovative energy solutions, based on the combination of renewable energies. The gala was also a great happiness, for having achieved it in difficult times for this sector and thanking the great team of people who make up ENAIR.

Also in the act were also the President of the Generatitat Valenciana, Albert Fabra, the President of the Chambers of Spain Jose Luis Bonet and the President of the Alicante Chamber Jose Enrique Garrigós. All of them in their speeches shared the importance of supporting the business and industrial fabric as the basis of economic development.

  • Special Honorable Mention to Tourism: Xato Restoration S.L (Restaurante el Xato, La Nucía).
  • Gold and Shining Medal for Juan Fornés, Director of Masymas Supermarkets in the Valencian Community and Murcia.
