Small wind turbine and Photovoltaic in 8 schools and 7 health centers in the Lakes (Chile)

Developing the best renewable energy solution, the company ENAIR, along with the Chilean AGELEC, will equip 8 schools and 7 primary health pavilions in the Region of the Lakes (Chile). These facilities will provide energy to a very dispersed population nucleus with more than 2,000 people.

The geographical situation of the Region of the Lakes, located between the Cordillera de la Costa and the Andes, made it very difficult to provide these services with other types of energy solutions.

At the beginning of 2014 the Government of Chile launched an international public tender to equip with 8 renewable energy schools and 7 pavilions of primary health services, called rural posts.

It was attended by companies from the renewable sector around the world, the design developed by ENAIR and presented by the company AGELEC, the best option, which won the competition with a score of 76.3 points on the 40 points obtained by The second, which is an important difference in product and technical solutions.

The project seeks to build the necessary civil works to house the different equipment for energy generation, start-up and verification of services. In addition to having a maintenance plan of 10 years.

Altogether, it consists of 10 renewable energy installations of minieolica plus photovoltaic and, depending on its location, the same facility can share its energy contribution between several schools or rural posts.

The end result is that 16 populations will be able to enjoy energy in their schools and health centers. All this with a period of
Not more than 7 months.

Its imminent start-up, already sent to Chile part of the material, made last week move from that country to the ENAIR facilities in Castalla, Ernesto Bianchi, head of engineering of the company AGELEC. All this, with the purpose of obtaining the necessary technical training to carry out the facilities there, as well as to consolidate the current commercial relationship. He was always accompanied by David Bornay, manager and president of ENAIR, and technical director, Juan Antonio Vila.
